The Gallery and Art Center can benefit the local community by increasing economic opportunities for artists and non-artists.
- The Art Center provides the artist collective, The Guild, a prime retail location in which to show and sell their fine art and crafts. The cost to participate presents a low and affordable threshold for the region’s talented artists and craftspeople.
- Qualified teachers earn income by teaching classes to community members and visitors.
- The Art Center itself increases foot traffic and dwell times to assist surrounding downtown businesses.
- The Art Center will employ and train three workers in retail and other positions.
